The place is idyllic, surrounded by hills and fields. It’s quite a bit of drive/walk from the village but if you have the legs/right car, it adds to the adventure. My kids took turns to run in front – open and close the 4 gates as I was driving and said it was the best part of the stay. The house is super eco equipped with water supply, heating, consumables, etc. All rooms were clean and fresh. Although we ate out the kitchen is well equipped with everything you’d need for self catering (especially that hospitality venues are under a lot of strain with limited capacity). The bedrooms are in the attic and anyone really tall and with back issues should know that the ceilings are low but after grazing my shoulders a few times I got used to it. The host was very helpful and rang on the day to give detailed instructions and guide through to ensure we were safely in. Overall a very pleasant stay would book again!
