Beautiful cosy croft house, impeccably clean, perfectly decorated and every detail is thought through (there was even a pizza cutter). We couldn’t fault it. Chris’s communication and instructions for arrival and departure were really clear and if you follow them to the detail you won’t go wrong. The track to the house was fine for our ford kuga, taken in first gear most of the way and the 4 gates are easy enough. Plenty parking and turning space at the house and a gate to keep out the sheep. Glenelg itself is beautiful. We ate once at the Glenelg Inn which was good and we enjoyed the atmosphere there with friendly local staff and a huge log fire. The Way Out West cafe at the Skye Ferry was brilliant – they REALLY know their coffee. Also the best chocolate brownies we have ever tasted. We also visited the two brochs and the beach at Sandaig, which inspired Gavin Maxwell’s book Ring of Bright Water. Rest assured that if you choose to take your holiday at Cosaig House you won’t be disappointed, and you’ll probably want to return again and again.
